Bikini: Victoria’s Secret (different color here)
On our first full day in Komiza, we decided to venture out to one of our must-see spots, Stiniva Beach. If you’re ever in Vis I highly recommend you take a trip here, but make sure that you go by boat. We found out the hard way that the only other way to get there is to hike (aka slide/fall) down a very steep hill, which took us around 20 – 30 minutes to tackle.
Although this was a rough trip down to say the least, it ended up being beyond worth it. The beautiful cave-like rock structure surrounded a small pebbly beach. The water was crystal clear and a mix of blue and teal. Despite the fact that it was a cloudy day, and the water was a bit chilly, I knew I had to go in. Plus, Nick was so excited to play with his new waterproof camera, that I just couldn’t say no.
Despite the overcast weather, we took a few hours to relax and enjoy the view on our practically private beach.
It was such an amazing experience to take in all of the natural beauty of this place, and It was then and there that I knew I had fallen in love with Croatia.
